It can be tracked if you need it to be. Private messages and chat logs are usually all saved in computers. Even if it's not in yours, they have technicians who can track everything that has been posted on the internet.
Mind you, they won't ever care about what people post unless it's brought to their attention by flagging it as a virus, incriminating photos, or harassment.
